Join us in welcoming  Dr. Dan Cusworth, Project Scientist with Carbon Mapper, who will describe this project as it unfolds for Northern California landfills as well as his organization's work to partner with LEAs and other agencies working in policy-making and enforcement.

Carbon Mapper is a new Pasadena, CA mission-based non-profit focused on mitigating human impacts to Earth’s climate and ecosystems. They have partnered with Planet, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the State of California, the University of Arizona and Arizona State University, in using satellite imagery to trace sources of methane plumes across the planet.
